We have divided customer accounts into two divisions, Corporate accounts and Personal accounts. The two divisions have different types of data included in customer information. For example, a personal account will record birthdays, marriage status and other personal data. Corporate accounts will not need to keep this type of data but they may need to keep a legal name and a doing business as name. Also corporate accounts often have a different ship to address from their mailing address. With both types of accounts all sales data is automatically displayed for each customer when their account is displayed on screen.
The following screen is used when receiving payment on account:

Accounts Receivable
At any time you can get a report on any or all of your corporate or personal accounts receivables. The report shows dated balances, customer information and totals.
Bonus/Loyalty Points
Using gift cards and a system for awarding patrons for frequent visits to your establishment draws repeat business. Give customers a sense of belonging by awarding them for purchasing or attract new customers with gift cards from current patrons. Sixth Sense Cafe can allocate points based on the dollar amount spent at a sale or by preset amounts linked to the sale of a specific item. You can exclude sale or clearance items automatically and the redemption percentage is completely up to you. You can also create a report on the status of outstanding points.
Sixth Sense Software can create your gift cards for you. Contact our sales team for details.
Charging to...
Any amounts charged to, or paid on, a customer's account during a sale are automatically added to or subtracted from the customer's balance owing and are displayed with the customer's file.
Ccorporate Accounts
Each corporate record contains the legal name and the doing business as name of the customer. The names, or personal account numbers, of up to three of the owners is kept. The full billing and ship to addresses as well as the phone and fax numbers, email and internet addresses for the company are recorded.
There are fields for entering a permanent discount for all sales made by the customer, or a cost plus percentage and the customer's terms, credit limit and tax number. You can also attach a note to the customer's file which will be displayed in the cash register screen after entering the customer's account number.
Personal Accounts
Sixth Sense Cafe can keep a large amount of detailed information for each of your Personal customers, allowing you to serve them better. Data such as name, address, phone, birthday, employment and banking information, and marital status are kept on every customer. You can also show a discount, in percent, that the customer may receive during a sale.
You can attach a note to the customer's file which will be displayed on the cash register screen during a sale after the customer's account number has been entered. All sales records for a customer are displayed automatically when a customer's file is brought up on screen, and are sortable in any manner you wish.
Importing/Exporting
Any or all of the information contained in Corporate or Personal accounts can be exported to another program or the information imported from other programs. The data can be in the SYLK, DBF or text format for importing or exporting.
Labels
Create labels for any customer, for use when mailing, creating file folders, or any other use.
Statements
With Sixth Sense Cafe, you can automatically generate statement accounts which are then sent to customers. Interest is automatically calculated on charges past due, and this is added to the total balance. Balances are itemized for each purchase, credit, interest or payment on account so that you receive a detailed picture of an account. Statements feature a portion which may be cut off by the customer and returned with payment. The returnable portion shows the balance owing, due date, customer’s name and address, account number, and a space for the customer to indicate the amount being remitted.
