Hardware Requirements

Sixth Sense Software has deliberately created Sixth Sense Point of Sale so that as powerful and quick as it is, it also runs very efficiently, thereby requiring less hardware performance. This means that you have the option of investing in a smaller computer rather than the latest top of the line model to run Sixth Sense Point of Sale, saving you money.

NOTE: Sixth Sense POS utilizes ETHERNET based printing only for the Apple Macintosh computer lines sold after August 2005 (Bluetooth and Airport built into the motherboard directly). Standard networking requirements and procedures apply. USB printing is NOT supported.

USB printing is NOT supported as the user is forced to go through operating system print dialoges for every receipt (How many copies, choose a printer, page setup, etc), which tremendously slows down business operations. You are also limited to only 3 printers which are currently supported for the Mac.
